Populating POPO's new ERP System
with Configurable Product Data
POPO is a German furniture company specialising in high-quality, contemporary design pieces for interior spaces. It offers a curated selection of furniture from international designers, aiming to create stylish, functional living environments.
We collaborate with POPO's suppliers to create uninterrupted product data flow that enables easy product configuration and data sync with their new ERP system, Odoo. This process eliminates retailers' need for populating their internal systems with product data and encourages suppliers to set up processes for recurring updates across all systems and external partners. Establishing a seamless flow of configurable product data to the ERP allows for improved data management and simplifies the ordering process.
Our goal is to build a robust digital data network with POPO’s suppliers, ensuring a continuous stream of reliable high-quality product data with minimal effort required for ongoing maintenance.
DataInFlow story has started years back with a struggle in obtaining reliable product data for a new building appliances webshop. That challenge has exposed major inefficiencies in data distribution between retailers and manufacturers, highlighting the need for a collective solution.

They deal with fragmented, inconsistent product data from multiple sources, requiring time-consuming manual efforts to process and standardise product information. Juggling between hundreds of data sources they face order errors, delays, returns or limit the number of suppliers and products.
Manufacturers struggle with complex, fragmented data, and incompatible systems. With thousands of possible product configurations, data exchange hurdles force them to limit assortment, share data in chunks or invest in complex resource-intensive configurators and portals.


Without a high-quality, real-time data flow, retailers limit their assortments, and manufacturers struggle to gain visibility, stifling overall market growth. A truly functional digital market requires seamless data exchange to unlock new opportunities and drive sustainable growth for all participants.

His background spans AI integration in healthcare, rapid software prototyping, and the design of cognitively attuned interfaces that translate complexity into clarity. He is the creator of Directively Attuned Gestalts (DAGs), an AI framework designed to adapt dynamically to user context and intent. His recent work has focused on AI-powered learning platforms and large-scale digital transformation projects - particularly in health and education, using data-driven methodologies and PRINCE2 project leadership. At DataInFlow, he focuses on building clean conceptual foundations - ensuring that what’s designed early can scale smoothly, support real-world use, and stay aligned with human needs.
